HAPPY NEW YEAR FAMILY

Been thinking long and hard on the perfect punchline to uplift your spirits this new year. As it stands the war between my head and my heart have ended and they have jointly decided to look out for one another as the year progresses. This means that there are going to be matters where i would think with my head and the other with my heart (mostly with the head tho).
Would have started by quoting scriptural prophesies but I guess that's already in order and as such we are moving on. To those of you whom have started the yearly fasting and prayer, the Lord is your strength; especially those whom have been convinced or forced by either or both parents to key in.
To those who havent, well we live based on our choices.

Hello Hello Resolution Fans, lets dust off that enthusiasm a little shall we!
A little run down of what I have to say to you. Yes You!
First of its being said that Ethiopia is living in 2009 as they count thirteen months instead of 12. GASP WITH ME (I already have peeps seeking googles attention). Hollup! Hollup! True or Not what will change. Exactly nothing. Fuel price na still 155. All i wanted to achieve was calm in your anxiety towards time. Trust me its just increasing numbers that have gotten you so anxious.
Its that peak of the year where our dedication towards the years goal is driving us to effect changes in ourselves and around us with the soul aim of exhibiting a new reflection to our environment. Most times this environment doesnt even notice any change as they are also busy waiting for you to react to theirs. So who truly wins in the 2017 resolution game, the answer is No One. Why? First of all its not a game, Its your life you are fighting for. So my advice is for each and everyone of you out there to run your own race. I'm guessing by now you know why its your race, its because your pace is not the same as anyone else's. The yardstick, the race track, the race time, your stamina, the distance to be covered, nothing is the same with your neighbor.
Lets make this even more interesting, '... a thousand years is like a day in Gods eyes'. Ask your priest if it is written.

So how do I begin a resolution; Is it that its no longer necessary?
Well the saying 'its easier said than done' have made me come to round my answer off this way.
A resolution can be taken at any time(day/week/month/year). lets deal with just the yearly own which is the most common. I recommend baby steps which eventually become adult responsibilities. And just like a baby, have a guider and work with he/she. Tomorrow who knows you would groom someone too, and have it in mind that the guider and the baby are both still works in progress. There is no end to a resolution only a growth because we never truly stop learning.
This way you dont care how far others are going or have come; your only focus is how far you have come from where you used to be.
You see we all were born under different influences that shaped our lives as our tiny little fingers grew into sweaty hands, so if we all make a decision, our progress is measured individually.

Dont look too far your greatest competition Today, is Yourself Tomorrow - Big Sister
