For all those who remember this movie. A minute to wipe your teary eyes. ookk mine too! There done. So good news there are hints of a reunion. yea i know they wont be the same physically anymore but that emotion in me they might still afire.
Cheers to Mandy and Shawn for making my childhood great. I was now crushing on my neighbour in jss2 seeing visions of our together forever. Ewu!!!!!
If there was one celebrity who dominated the aughts on both the screen and your radio, it was Mandy Moore. The singer turned actress was responsible for some of the decade's best teen films, including 2002's A Walk to Remember. Uh, remember that one? (Sorry.) The film, which was the second of the Nicholas Sparks books-turned-movies, was one of the only teen films you could safely get through alongside your family without wincing once. Aside from being a universally loved movie, it also had one of the strongest displays of on-screen chemistry of our time between Moore and Shane West. Oh, and if you could get through it without sobbing, you might not be 100% human. We're just saying.
Now, it seems like a reunion is on the horizon. Apparently, Mandy and Shane have been recently talking about hanging out again. "I just reached out to Shane," the actress tells People. "We hadn't talked in years. So he and I were going back and forth, and I was telling him about the show and he was telling me about his show. We're going to try and get together one of these days." (Mandy is set to star in the new show This Is Us, the trailer for which has already amassed MILLIONS of viewers. Her character is very different from Jamie Sullivan, however.)
And, yes, when the reunion happens, selfies will be involved. "I feel like we should get together with as much of the cast [that] is around and see if we can finagle a social media picture or something like that," she said about her A Walk to Remember family."I think it'd be fun." Us too, Mandy. Us too.
